We teach following the philosophy of Shinichi Suzuki and believe that all children are capable of learning a musical instrument.

We are a school specialising in violin and cello, offering excellent instruction for children from 30 months of age, as well as for adults.

What makes us unique

  • The Learning Triangle: The foundation of success in early learning is a balanced “triangle” composed of the teacher, the parents, and the student. With very young children (from 30 months of age), parents take on the role of co-educators, acting as the “memory” of the lesson at home and helping the child develop responsibility and persistence.

  • Ritualization and Daily Habits: From the very first lesson, the method introduces rituals that help the child structure their relationship with the instrument:

    • The learning process begins with simple gestures, such as the initial greeting.
    • The student progressively learns to discover, pick up, and hold the instrument with the correct posture.

These rituals are repeated daily at home, transforming practice into a natural and consistent routine.

  • A Playful and Human Approach: For young children, the method humanizes the learning process by associating music and the instrument (such as the violin or cello) with play and games. This makes learning a complex instrument feel natural, allowing technique to be absorbed without the child experiencing an excessive sense of difficulty. The initial focus is on valuing every small achievement in order to strengthen the student’s self-esteem.

  • Technical Rigor from the Beginning: Despite its playful component, there is a strong focus on establishing solid technical foundations from an early stage.

  • Collective Learning and Observation: The learning process does not take place in isolation. In addition to a weekly individual lesson, the method promotes Group Classes from the very beginning, where students learn to play together, give cues, take the lead, and, above all, listen to others.

Observing older students, who serve as an inspiration and role model, encourages younger students to create their own routines and set their own goals.

  • Mental and Auditory Preparation: Before physical execution becomes complex, the method encourages mental preparation and practice.

    • Singing the piece: The idea is that, if the student is able to sing the melody mentally, they will be able to perform it more easily on the instrument.
    • Aural training: Constant accompaniment by the piano helps develop the child’s musical ear from the very first day.
